  Dive into Curio.ca and explore the rich collection of streaming video and audio from CBC and Radio-Canada.  From The Nature of Things and Stratford Festival Productions, to the 2017 reboot of Anne of Green Gables, Curio.ca offers a wide variety of content to use in and outside the classroom.  This new subscription offers access to thousands of videos and the ability to create playlists and highlight segments for closer analysis.

• Laptop Loan Service Coming to an End

  The Library’s laptop loan service has seen a significant decline in usage over the years, especially as personal laptop ownership by students has dramatically increased. After reviewing the program, the Library has decided to discontinue lending laptops. This will take effect as of May 1st.

  The Library will be investing in new desktop computers over the spring and summer of 2018.

• On Display: Celebrating First Generation Students

  First Generation students (Trailblazers) are being celebrated at Brock University this week.  As over 25% of our student population is first in their family to attend post-secondary, they are changing the course of their own lives and also the lives of generations to follow.

  In honour of these students, a new display in the Library and Learning Commons features the profiles of famous “First Gens.” From Shaquille O’Neal and Michelle Obama to Roberta Jamieson and Mahatma Gandhi, there is a Trailblazer story to inspire you.
