Open Access Week is an international annual celebration of open access. Events are held around the globe to:
- highlight the potential benefits of open access
- foster knowledge sharing among colleagues
- help inspire wider participation in helping to make open access a new norm in scholarship and research
Brock University Library has led campus celebrations of Open Access Week since 2010.
In celebration of Open Access Week Brock Library takes a look at different journal publishing dynamics in our annual State of Scholarly Publishing Report. It covers:
- How many Open Access journal articles Brock published in the past year
- How much resources were spent on Article Processing Charges
- Popular journals and publishers
