Makerspace Orientation

  • All first-time reservations for labs and technology will include a 10 min orientation.
  • Brings all users up to speed on how to use the technology and services in the Makerspace.
  • Users will learn basic functions and how to safely operate our technology on their own.
  • Once orientations are completed you can confidently use the spaces and technology and get the best results for your projects.

Multimedia

Our video and photography lab is open for recordings, audio and still photography.

This lab (studio) is equipped with a 9 x 12-foot backdrop, studio lights, and professional cameras and lenses.  Complete our Video and Photography Lab orientation on ExperienceBU to make your booking.

Our Virtual Tour can give a glimpse into the labs and give more information on what they normally provide.

Prototyping

The Prototyping Lab is able to run any printing jobs for students and staff.  You can also find support with making your designs come to life! We’ll guide you through the appropriate steps ensuring your designs are print or carve ready. Individual appointments are available to anyone.

For more information and submitting a job request, please see our Help page.
