PALS Spring 2024

PALS 2024 Registration will open at 8am on Wednesday November 13, 2024.

Call our Welcome Desk at (905) 688-5550 ext. 4060 to register!

Program Overview:

The PALS program exposes students to a variety of sports and activities that are inclusive for all students. Suitable for grades KG through 8, we recognize the importance of increasing the awareness of the need for daily physical activity in the lives of our young people and offer activities that are exclusive to Brock and allows students access to our facilities.

Reservations are available weekdays from Tuesday, May 6 until Wednesday, June 25, 2025. A PALS day runs 9:00am to 3:00pm (Times are flexible to accommodate your transportation needs). Most days we will be able to accommodate 5 classes a day on main campus in the Walker Sports Complex and 3 classes at Canada Games Park. Each class attending a PALS Day requires a teacher/supervisor to accompany all activities.

Cancellations: A full refund for PALS bookings will be issued for cancellations received no later than Friday March 21st, 2025.

Check out some of our newest activities

A variety of co-operative activities played with an Omnikin Ball which is an inflatable ball that is approximately 48 inches in diameter. A very different activity that has the students working together in a variety of fun challenges.

A unique game similar to Handball but with no defence. Teams attempt to bounce a ball off a trampoline-like net to get the ball to hit the ground. Students learn about moving into open space and working on sending and receiving skills.

A racquet sport played with wooden or plastic paddles and whiffle balls on a badminton court with lowered nets and rules similar to table tennis. Great for all ages of students and an excellent way to develop their racquet sport skills.

We recognize that some classes have previously attended PALS. We will work with the teacher to provide activities which are different from other years the children have attended.
