Brock Recreation provides innovative, engaging, and high quality experiences in sport and recreation for the Brock University community and beyond.

Vision statement

We aim to engage students through diverse opportunities that develop lifelong skills for growth and advancement, provide access to committed student leaders who are actively engaged in building a stronger community, strive for barrier-free and inclusive environments that promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle and offer programs and support services that produce healthy living, skill development, life skills and fun!

Fall Term Update:

The Walker Sports Complex is open for current Brock student use as per provincial and Niagara Public Health regulations.  Pre-registration for activity is required.  Brock University has implemented a Mandatory Vaccine Policy for all who are on campus.  We have followed Provincial and Public Health guidance, as well as Brock University’s stages of re-opening.

Important information regarding Ontario Vaccine Requirement for Fitness/Recreation/Sport Facilities beginning Wed. Sept. 22, 2021

As of Wed. Sept. 22, the Ontario Government requires proof of full vaccination (2nd dose plus 14 days) to access the Walker Sports Complex for recreation (including but not limited to: the Zone Fitness Centre, Pool, courts, gymnasia and indoor intramurals).  Brock University approved exceptions are accepted as well.
