Each year Brock students are involved in the organization and supervision of our recreational programs. There are many opportunities to join our programs teams to deliver our aquatics, intramurals, fitness or youth programs. There are also administration positions available at our welcome desk and operational position at our equipment room. There are even openings to volunteer in our Children’s Movement Program and with our Brock Niagara Penguins adaptive sport teams.
A select number of positions for the spring and summer will open up on January 1st, and all of other 2026-27 school year positions will open on February 1st.. For the most up-to-date postings and to apply visit Brocks Career page online at Careers@Brock.

- All copy of all current LSS awards/qualifications. For Lifesaving Society awards, simply hand in an up-to-date print-out from LSS website to prove qualifications. (Go to LSS Ontario “Find a Member – Check your qualifications” web page. You will need your LSS ID number.) For Standard First Aid CPR-C other than LSS you are required to show the original certification card.
- Two references: name and email address.

- LSS First Aid Update completed or Emergency First Aid Instructor
- LSS Swim-for-Life Instructor
- LSS Bronze Family Instructor (Bronze Medallion/Cross)

We accept Zone attendant & personal training, group fitness and spin instructor applications on an ongoing basis. We regularly welcome new instructors onto our team who are qualified to teach the following styles of group fitness classes:
- Yoga
- Pilates
- Indoor group cycling
- Fitness Kickboxing
- Muscle Conditioning and Bootcamp classes
- Aerobic Fitness
- Zumba

Trainings
All Brock employees must complete several training modules. The required training is referenced in your offer letter from Brock University, and your supervisor will notify you of any other training required. All employees must complete the Council of Ontario Universities Accessibility Tutorial (AODA), which can be accessed through your employee portal (a current Brock contract is required to access your employee portal).
