Academic Confidence

  • BU101: Asynchronous online courses focused on study strategies, time management, and critical thinking.
  • One-on-One Tutoring and Group Academic Support: Course specific one-on-one tutoring and general-subject group academic support.
  • Peer-Led Workshops: Scheduled 1-hour sessions on a variety of topics including goal setting, self-directed learning, essay writing and exam preparation.
  • Academic Accommodations: Student Accessibility Services offers academic supports to students with a permanent disability or temporary health condition which affects academic functioning.

Level-Up at Brock

  • Campus-Wide Co-Curriculum: A collection of co-curricular and extra-curricular experiences at Brock designed to help you make the most of your Brock experience.
  • Coffee With a Prof: An opportunity to meet with your professors one-on-one to have meaningful conversations about career paths, life experiences and your personal goals.
  • BU4U: A directory of services and resources at Brock created to point you in the right direction for your academic, wellness, and university life needs.

Empowered to Thrive

  • The SWAC Wellness HUB: A space where students can drop in to chat with Peer Health Educators about stress management, mental health awareness, and healthy living resources.
  • Financial Literacy and Budgeting Support: Resources to help students manage finances effectively, understand budgeting, saving, and investing.
  • Off-Campus Living: Supports and resources for navigating living off campus, including finding accommodations, understanding tenancy laws, dispute resolution, and staying involved on campus.

You Belong

  • Welcome Week Events: Social activities, campus tours, and faculty meet-and-greets providing opportunities to meet classmates, develop friendships, and learn about all that Brock offers.
  • Student Clubs and Organizations: Student-run organizations allow students to connect based on shared interests and hobbies.
