New Campus. New Community.
Transfer Connect is designed to support your transition to Brock by focusing on the unique experiences of transfer students. During your first few weeks, the program helps you build connections with people, opportunities, and campus supports so you can feel confident navigating your new environment.
It works alongside the Transfer Success program, offered through Learning Services. While Transfer Connect focuses on helping you get connected and feel part of the Brock community, Transfer Success provides academic skill development, tutoring, and learning strategies to support your success in the classroom.

What to Expect
Transfer students who participate in Transfer Connect can anticipate:
- Receiving a welcome email shortly after they’ve registered for courses that outlines summer engagement opportunities, upcoming orientation programming, and a quick survey to help us get to know you better!
- Communication leading up to the start of classes highlighting Welcome Week events (including our first transfer student meet up!) and other applicable resources that you may need in your first week.
- For the first six weeks of each term, a weekly email newsletter that highlights events, programs, and services designed to help transfer students build confidence, make connections, and feel supported.
- Events, workshops, and engagement opportunities, specifically for transfer students, that align with the first six weeks weekly themes – Arrival, Explore, Dive In, Build Confidence, Challenge Yourself, and Gain Momentum – and any other needs you may identify!
