The BSSC (Black Student Success Centre) is the academic and personal hub of professional growth and development for all Black students at Brock and acts as both a partner and key liaison to the broader university community. Established in 2023 to strengthen connections between Black students, faculty, alumni, and staff, the Centre fosters academic excellence, leadership development, and positive community impact, both on and off campus.
Rooted in the guiding principles of the Scarborough Charter signed by the university and committed to the positive experience and wholistic well-being of the University’s Black student population, the Centre guides opportunities for collaboration and mentorship develops culturally informed engagement and programming, and provides informed insight into navigating campus supports and services.
