Connect. Explore. Thrive.
Join Mentor Link: Brock University’s Peer-to-Peer Mentorship Program and discover the confidence, connections, and community you need to thrive.
About the Program
Mentor Link is all about connection. Whether you’re a new student looking for guidance or an upper-year student ready to give back, Mentor Link helps you build meaningful relationships and navigate your Brock experience with confidence.
As a mentee, you’ll be matched with an experienced upper-year student who’s been where you are and can help you find your footing. As a mentor, you’ll support new students through their transition, grow as a leader, and make a real impact in your campus community.
The benefits: real support, real connections, and real experiences that make your time at Brock unforgettable.
Become a Mentee
New to Brock? Mentor Link connects you with an upper-year student who’s been there before and is ready to help you find your footing. They’ll help you navigate campus life, build connections, and make the most of your first year at Brock.
Being a mentee means you don’t have to navigate university alone. When you join Mentor Link, you’ll:
- Get personalized guidance from an upper-year student who’s been in your shoes
- Build academic, wellness, and life skills through events, workshops, and conversations
- Make meaningful connections—with peers, campus resources, and the wider Brock community
- Earn progress in the Campus-Wide Co-Curriculum (CWC) as you participate
- Become part of a supportive community that will stick with you throughout your degree
- Create your Mentee Profile: Tell us a bit about yourself—your program, interests, and what you’re hoping to get out of the experience.
- Get Matched: You’ll be paired with an upper-year student who aligns with your goals, interests, and academic path.
- Start Connecting: Meet your mentor at events or 1-on-1 meetups. Ask questions, get advice, and explore campus life together.
- Stay Engaged: Keep in touch with your mentor throughout the year, join fun and helpful events, and build skills through the Campus-Wide Co-Curriculum (CWC).
- Wrap Up and Look Ahead: As the academic year winds down, reflect on what you’ve learned and make a plan with your mentor to keep your momentum going.
- Stay in touch with your mentor regularly—whether at events or one-on-one check-ins
- Participate in programming and engage with the Campus-Wide Co-Curriculum (CWC)
- Be open about your goals and share feedback with your mentor
- Reach out to the Mentorship Lead team if you ever have questions or concerns
- Bring your full self and enjoy the experience!
