At the core of my research interest is a focus on athlete development which I explore through examination of long-term athlete development (LTAD), coaching, and positive youth development through sport.  My research examines how many different factors such as human performance, behaviour, policy, philosophy, leadership and change impact children and youth in their athletic development. Prior to completing my Ph.D., I was a Provincial and National level Women’s Artistic Gymnastics coach.
