Students in the BBA program have the option to select from ten different concentrations. Whether you choose to focus on a specific business discipline, or remain undeclared, you can build a BBA degree that will match your career goals.

In the first two years, you’ll take a core set of courses to build a solid foundation in the functional areas of business along with knowledge of the Canadian and global business environment. Beginning in your third year, you will have the option of specializing in one of ten concentrations.
It is strongly recommended that you book an academic advising appointment prior to submitting your application to discuss eligibility for declaring a concentration.
Minimum Application Requirements
To be eligible to apply for a concentration you must have:
- Earned a minimum total of 10.0 credits
- Achieved Honours standing:
- 70% major average and
- 60% non-major average
- Minimum application requirements must be met for each respective concentration as outlined below and in the Undergraduate Calendar
- Application must be received by June 1
- June deadline is for those who think they will meet admission requirements after completing Fall/Winter semesters. There is an August 1 deadline for students to take advantage of the Spring/Summer courses to meet admission requirements.

How To Apply For A Concentration
Declare or Change Major Application forms are used to declare a concentration. Select ‘BBA Honours’ and complete the Concentration section of the form.
Forms are available at the Registrar’s Office http://www.brocku.ca/registrar/toolkit/forms and must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office in-person (3rd floor of the Schmon Tower) or through email (records@brocku.ca) by the specified deadline dates mentioned above.
How To Download Your Program Plan
- Navigate to the Goodman Portal and select ‘Undergraduate Portal’. Login using your Brock credentials
- Click ‘Download a Program Plan’
- Select your program and year (please note this is the year you started your degree)
- Click ‘View Program Plan’
