Master of Science thesis defence

Ngan (Nan) Tran, a Master of Science candidate in the Department of Chemistry, will defend her thesis titled “N–Phenyl Pyrroloimidazolone Derivatives for Stereoselective Birch Reduction and Chiral NHC–Iridium Complexation” on Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 10 a.m. The defence will take place virtually.

The examination committee includes Cheryl McCormick, Chair; Costa Metallinos, Supervisor; Ian Pottie, External Examiner (Mount St. Vincent University); and Tomas Hudlicky and Paul Zelisko, Committee Members.
