Brock University is committed to encouraging academic excellence. Annually, the University sets aside funds to recognize our best and brightest students. In addition to our generous bursary program, Brock offers very competitive scholarships to entering students and returning students.

Entering Students

Our renewable Brock Scholars Awards are made at the time of admission without separate applications. Award values are based on your Final Admission Average. For more information about these and other awards for entering students, visit out Future Students open new window web site.

Brock Scholars Award - Entering Student Automatic Scholarship

Admission Average (Final Grades)	Amount of Award
93.0% and above	$14,000 ($3,500 for up to 4 years)
90.0% to 92.9%	$8,000 ($2,000 for up to 4 years)
85.0% to 89.9%	$4,000 ($1,000 for up to 4 years)
80.0% to 84.9%	$3,000 ($750 for up to 4 years)

Returning Students

Renewable Brock Scholars Awards are awarded at the end each Fall/Winter session based on your sessional average. If you do not hold a renewable Brock Sholars Award you are still eligible for our Returning Scholars Award based on the following criteria.

90.0% to 93.9%	$1,000
85.0% to 89.9%	$550
80.0% to 84.9%	$350

* The Sessional "Best 4" Average is calculated using courses from your Fall/Winter session. A minimum of 4 full credits in the Fall/Winter session is required to qualify for this award.
