Aliona Baradzenka, Doctor of Philosophy candidate in the Department of Chemistry, will defend her thesis titled “Synthesis and Reactivity of Low Valent Silicon and Phosphorus Compounds” on Wednesday, Aug. 17 at 11 a.m., in Plaza 600F.
