Request a Free Pre-Assessment

We understand that completing a graduate application can be an expensive investment in time and money—valuable resources we don’t want to see you waste.

Create a profile on the Goodman Graduate Portal to submit your resume and post-secondary transcripts and we will conduct a free pre-assessment for you.*

This assessment will not only let you know if you are eligible for one of our programs, but will also indicate whether we think your application will be competitive enough for admission.

Steps to request your pre-assessment:

  1. Visit the Goodman Graduate Portal.
  2. Create an account using your email and a secure password (please save this information for future access). Brock students can use their Brock email and password to login to the Graduate Portal.
  3. Complete your profile.
  4. Send a message to the assessment committee requesting a pre-assessment for the program of your choice.
  5. Attach your post-secondary transcripts (international transcripts must include the institution grading scale explanation), resumé, and any available English language proficiency documentation (such as IELTS or TOEFL, if applicable). Brock students can submit their Student ID number in lieu of their Brock transcripts.
  6. You will receive a response from the assessment committee within five business days via email.

Some users may experience issues signing up due to a known Chrome autofill behavior. If you encounter any problems, please try one of the following options:

  • Temporarily disable Chrome autofill while creating your account, or
  • Use a different browser, such as Microsoft Edge or Firefox, to complete the Goodman portal sign‑up process.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

Document checklist

Before you begin, gather these documents to simplify the process for you:

• Post-secondary transcripts (international transcripts must include the institution grading scale explanation)

• Resumé

• Any available English language proficiency documentation (such as IELTS or TOEFL), if applicable

*Please note: A pre-assessment does not guarantee admission to Brock University. Students are still required to submit an official application for admissions consideration.
