There are many external factors that can drive change in your business which is why it’s so important to always keep your strategy in mind when evaluating the scope and timing of any proactively planned change.

This program will start with that bigger strategic picture as a litmus test for your decisions, help you define and evaluate your culture and its readiness for change and consider any external resistance to the change.

It will address the impact of change on your people and other stakeholders and the importance of communication and clarity during every step and stage, including after you believe the change should be complete.

High level budget considerations when thinking of choices related to resourcing, training, and risk management. You will be introduced to several tools and will apply them to a current change initiative or one you might be considering.

There are many methodologies for more formal change management and they all serve an important purpose. Just like for project management, change management is a discipline. But for many of us, though we have to constantly deal with changing priorities, demands and new ways of doing things, a complex model just isn’t fit for purpose.

This workshop is for those who want to fast track right to lessons learned from change experts. The program will focus on clarifying the scope and scale of the change, questions to ask, who to involve and to what degree, and most importantly, how to manage your own energy and the well-being of those impacted. It is ideal if you can bring a change you will be or are working through but we will guide you through some examples if you don’t have a real-world current scenario.

This program is designed to help you increase resilience in yourself and others when it comes to the challenges and opportunities of organizational change.

It is often the people part of the change equation that causes so many initiatives not only to derail but to cause significant impact on employee trust, well-being, and productivity. There is a distinctly human side to the resistance that comes from mindset but it can also be magnified or minimized by the way we structure and communicate change.

This program will provide you with a deeper understanding of how people progress through change, the things you can do to increase clarity and comfort, and strategies to adapt and flex your approach to move your people and teams towards buy-in and commitment.

You will leave with your own insights and priority actions relating to your own response to change, how you will show up for others, and what you will do differently to build that buy-in and commitment.

The “Building Change Resilience” workshop is a one-day training program designed to support individuals who are experiencing specific changes at work or potentially feeling change fatigue from multiple changes in a short period of time.

This program is designed to help individuals better understand how most people experience and progress through change. By gaining this understanding, learners will be better equipped to look at their own responses to change, apply techniques to increase their resilience, and constructively participate in the future.

The program will focus on helping learners recognize their own change readiness level, communicate their feelings and provide feedback constructively, review available mental health and resiliency supports, and develop action plans to apply on the job. The goal of the program is to equip learners with the knowledge and skills needed to build change resilience and positively participate in future changes.

With some focus on legal accountability, the program goes deeper to explore courage, taking risks and what it means to take action and boldly stand for those they lead and work with.

It will surface the tragic impact of both overt and implicit racism, prejudice and the exclusionary influences present in current systems and in our own choices.

It will also cover unconscious bias, how to identify its effects on our actions and decisions and practical steps we can take in our day-to-day lives. This program encourages participants in customer-facing roles to explore the benefits of a diverse and inclusive society, to learn more about themselves and their impact on those around them, including customers. It will surface the tragic impact of both overt and implicit racism, prejudice and the exclusionary influences present in current systems and in our own choices. It will also help participants identify the very real effects of their own unconscious bias on customers and the teams they work with to deliver products and services.

Participants will gain a clearer understanding that what they think has consequences, that what they say and do matters and that they have the ability to reshape how they show up and build relationships. In this pragmatic and practical learning experience, participants will develop their own clear and manageable set of ‘first steps’ with the support of their learning peers and their facilitators.
