
In partnership with the Direct Sellers Association (DSA) – Canada, Fundamental Sales Skills for Direct Sellers is a 3-hour self-guided course designed to equip independent sales consultants with the foundation they need to grow their direct sales business confidently, online, in person, and leveraging social media. This course includes fresh strategies so you can:

Prerequisites
- No prerequisites are required to take this course.
Technology Requirements
For in-person and online studies:
- Laptop: Minimum Windows 10 or equivalent operating system. Recommended 8GB of RAM and at least 16 GB of free hard disk space and Wi-Fi capabilities.
Online studies only:
- Access to reliable high-speed broadband internet access (Cable, DSL, LTE) with a minimum bandwidth of 15 Mbps is recommended.
- Laptop must include integrated webcam and microphone.
To successfully complete your program, you will complete all components of the program. Your progress will be continuously evaluated using a variety of formative and/or summative assessments to receive a final mark. Information about these assessment methods will be provided in the Learning Management System on the first day of the program.
Intake Details
These courses are fully online and self-paced, which means you can work through the material on your own time. There are no scheduled classes or live sessions with an instructor.
Although you can move through the course at your own pace, each course has a set start and end date. You can complete the course anytime within that timeframe, but all work, including the final assignment, must be submitted by the course end date.
If you successfully complete the course, you will receive a Digital Badge through MyCreds. This usually happens within 2 to 3 weeks after the course ends.
