Conferences and Symposia 2003-2004
The following conferences and symposia were sponsored by the Humanities Research Institute at Brock University during the academic year 2003-4.
- The Humanities Distinguished Lecture 2003 took place on November 18, 2004. This event was sponsored by The Humanities Research Institute and the Department of History. Brigitta Wallace, Archaeologist Emerita, Parks Canada, spoke on "L'Anse aux Meadows and Vinland: The Norse in the North Atlantic."
- On Monday April 28, 2004 Pat Clements visited Brock University to present "Creativity, Culture and Computing". Following the presentation was a question and answer period as well as short presentations by Brock faculty. Her colleague, Sharon Balazs, demonstrated the Orlando project.
