FIRST Tech Challenge Provincial Championships

Hosted by FIRST Robotics Canada and Brock University, the FIRST Tech Challenge Provincial Championship brings hundreds of Ontario youth to campus each February to engage in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Brock University is set to again host the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Provincial Championships for the second time in February. 48 teams of students from across the province, grades 7-12 will come to the Ian D. Beddis gymnasium on Feb 21-22, 2026 to showcase their ingenuity, creativity and teamwork. This year’s challenge, themed A.G.E. (Automate, Generate, Elevate), invites teams to explore how automation and innovation can shape a more connected and sustainable future.

Experience the Robo-Wizardry!

A fun-filled day of robotics competition and STEM education. Watch as teams pilot their robotic creations and navigate a playing field to earn a high score.

Teams of grade 7-12 students compete for a spot at Worlds in Texas.

Drop in anytime between 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. – admission is free

Safety Goggles:

Please note all attendees  are required to wear safety goggles when on the competition floor and pit areas.

Spectators will be provided safety goggles when entering the pit for your convenience.

On site attire:

No formal dress code is required to spectate the event.
