Have you ever wondered if children’s self-control can be improved by pretending to be a character?

What is this study about?

  • This study examined how taking a perspective of a character can influence children’s self control and decision-making. We are interested in whether taking the perspective of a character influences children’s behaviour. This study is important as it examines whether taking the perspective of a character might improve children’s self-control.

Who can participate?

  • Typically developing children aged 6 years, and their parent.

What’s involved?

  • 1 hour in-person session at Brock University (free parking provided)

What do individuals get for participating?
