Have you ever wondered what men are thinking about caregiving for older adults?

What is this study about?

  • We are interested in the beliefs, understanding, and familiarity with informal caregiving, and would like to learn more about the lived experiences of Canadian men who have older relatives (50+ years) with long-term care needs.

Who can participate?

  • We are looking for men who are 18 years of age or older, and who have older family members (50 years or older, e.g., spouse/partner, child/step- or adoptive child, or parent/parent-in-law) with long-term physical or mental ill health issues, disability or problems related to old age.

What is involved in participating?

  • This study involves participation in an online survey that will take approximately 25 minutes to complete. In this survey, you will answer questions about beliefs and familiarity with care for older adults, your well-being, and general information about yourself (e.g., age, gender).

What do individuals get for participating in this study?

  • For participating in this survey, all participants can enter a draw to win 1 of 5 $50 gift cards, and will receive a letter of resources about caregiving.
