Jennifer Roters has been a TA for the Psychology department’s Introductory Statistics and Research Methods course for two years.
Jennifer excels as a tutor, marker, mentor and seminar leader. She brings her passion and enthusiasm to engage and inspire students in the classroom. Jennifer is also very effective in connecting with students one-on-one to help them overcome individual learning challenges and to be successful in their studies.
She emphasizes the importance of guiding discovery for students. “When a learner is not told, but directed toward insight,” says Jennifer, “what they learn is more meaningful, with a greater emotional connection to the material.”
