    Betty Ombuki-Berman and Blessing Ogbuokiri have been featured in Brock News for receiving funding through the Government of Canada’s New Frontiers in Research Fund (NFRF) – Exploration grants.

    Prof. Ombuki-Berman is leading the project “Healing Algorithms: Decolonizing AI for Health Equity in Indigenous and Black Communities,” which explores equitable AI frameworks for healthcare systems. The interdisciplinary team includes Prof. Ogbuokiri, Prof. Lyn Trudeau, and Prof. Valerie Michaelson, and will work closely with Indigenous and Black community advisory boards.
