Robson E. De Grande is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Brock University. His research focuses on distributed and cyber-physical computing systems, integrating edge and cloud computing, intelligent networking, and performance modelling to support scalable, resilient, data-driven platforms. His work advances next-generation applications, including intelligent transportation systems, autonomous and IoT-enabled systems, and distributed simulation environments.
Dr. De Grande actively contributes to the international research community through leadership roles in conferences and workshops and through service as a reviewer and technical program committee member for leading journals and conferences in distributed systems, networking, and simulation. His research aims to advance scalable computing infrastructures and intelligent systems that support emerging connected and cyber-physical technologies.
