Program: Master of Applied Disability Studies

Research focus and motivation:

Interdisciplinarity of people experiencing disabilities, the complexities of aging, and discourses surrounding women in society. The women in my life and their experiences, specifically my mother and grandmothers, are at the heart of the work I do.

Advice for grad students:

Take advantage of every single opportunity Brock has to offer! Volunteer, go to the random information sessions, and learn something new! Make the absolute most of your time at Brock!

Next steps/future goals:

I am pursuing my PhD in fall 2025 at another institution, but I hope someday to teach or work within a university setting (maybe Brock again?) and keep doing what I love: teaching, learning, researching, and remaining highly curious!
