Listed below are possible opportunities for international sponsorships and scholarships. Once you have been accepted as a sponsored student under one of the programs below, please indicate that you have financial sponsorship under the Personal Information section of the online application.

International agreements

Brock University is pleased to be a participating institution with the Canada-Brazil Science Without Borders (Ciência sem Fronteiras) Doctoral Scholarship Program.

The eligibility requirements can be found on the Science without Borders website.

Brazil graduate student application process:  

Minimum admission requirements include a 75% minimum overall standing. Certification of English Language Proficiency (ELP) through one of the accepted examinations is required.

Applicants for the Science Without Borders scholarship must apply and receive an acceptance letter (even if conditional) before applying for the SWB Scholarship. See the Ciência sem Fronteiras (Science without Borders) website for details.

Brock University is pleased to be a participating institution with the Libyan-North American Scholarship Program.

Brock University is pleased to receive applications from excellent Mexican students who will be applying for the National Council for Science and Technology (CONACyT), Mexico scholarship program.

Scholarship programs for international students to study in Canada

The ALT Scholarship Program will grant scholarships to young African women and men to pursue a Master’s degree in public administration, public policy or public finance in Canada.

The Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE) in collaboration with The Institute of Public Administration of Canada (IPAC) will implement the ALT Scholarship Program with the objective of contributing to a strong and effective public sector in sub-Saharan Africa.

Full scholarships are available to Azerbaijan students to pursue a master’s or doctoral program.

The scholarship program is administered through the Ministry of Education, Republic of Azerbaijan scholarship program.

Full scholarships are available to Kazakh students to pursue a master’s or doctoral program.

Bolashak International Scholarship Program is a Kazakhstan government scholarship program.

Full scholarships are available to British students applying for any year-long postgraduate course with an accredited Canadian further education provider

The Awards are offered annually for British students or graduates wishing to pursue a postgraduate course at a university or other appropriate institution in Canada.

The scholarship program is administered through the Canada Memorial Foundation.

Full scholarships are available to Paraguay students to pursue a master’s or doctoral program.

PROGRAMA NACIONAL DE BECAS EN EL EXTERIOR DON CARLOS ANTONIO LÓPEZ is a Paraguay government scholarship program.

The Canada-U.S. Fulbright Program operates on the principle of reciprocal exchange and provides opportunities for outstanding American students to study and/or conduct research in Canada.

The scholarship program is administered through Fulbright Canada.

Global Education is the Russian Federal government-sponsored scholarship program that funds graduate studies in high-tech (engineering, environment, mathematics, science), public administration, education administration and social services fields (particularly public health, health administration).
