Bridging Borders: Fostering Global Learning through Custom Programs

In the heart of our university campus, Goodman Group wrapped up an enriching 5-day custom program for the international delegation from the Rome Business School Nigeria. The program aimed at providing a unique professional development opportunity for internationally trained professionals, shedding light on the intricacies of business in Canada.

“Our commitment to fostering learning that helps individuals and organizations achieve their goals is at the core of these custom programs. As the manager of Goodman Group’s professional and executive development, I’ve witnessed firsthand the transformative impact these experiences have on participants. Beyond handouts and lectures, these programs create a platform for an exchange of diverse perspectives, ideas, experiences and growth”, says Yennis Camargo.

The international delegation immersed themselves in a curriculum covering a spectrum of topics, from the essentials of Canadian business culture to the nuances of business law, ethics, communication, and management practices. The goal was clear – equip participants with the knowledge and insights to gain understanding of the Canadian business landscape and, in turn, apply their learning to drive positive change within their own communities.

The importance of such programs cannot be overstated. In an interconnected world, understanding how business operates in different cultural contexts is an asset. It’s not just about learning the theories; it’s about building relationships, sharing experiences, and expanding networks. Our programs provide a unique opportunity for professionals to connect with like-minded individuals, and in this case, fostering a sense of community that transcends borders.

As we bid farewell to our recent participants, the impact of their presence lingers on our campus. The energy of collaboration and the exchange of ideas created an atmosphere that resonates with the spirit of global cooperation. To future international delegations, we extend an open invitation. Come, join us in this journey of learning, cultural exchange, and professional growth. Your experiences here will not only shape your understanding of Canadian business but will also leave an indelible mark on your personal and professional journey.

If your delegation is ready to embark on a transformative learning experience, don’t hesitate to reach out to our department. We look forward to welcoming you to our amazing Niagara region and facilitating a journey of discovery that goes beyond borders.
