The importance of teamwork cannot be stressed enough in today’s diverse world with teams working in traditional, hybrid, and/or virtual format.
Through Goodman Group’s The Power of Teamwork program, you will gain an interactive learning experience that will help you and your organization reveal what it takes to build truly cohesive and productive in-person, hybrid, and/or virtual teams.
This seminar is delivered through five 90-minute interactive sessions to enhance the participants’ learning.
In five, 90 minute interactive classes with Goodman School of Business professors and industry leaders, you will:
- Learn how to come together, believe, achieve, and trust in each other
- Understand the challenges of managing in-person, hybrid, and virtual teams
- Develop strategies to gain commitment and, accountability to improve the results
- Hone your teamwork skills with the aid of case-studies and simulation accompanied by real-time coaching and feedback

Barry Wright is the CEO of the 2022 Canada Summer Games and is an Associate Professor in the Goodman School of Business at Brock University. Dr. Wright’s research centers primarily on change and its influence on organizational members. With a Ph.D. in Management and a MA in Psychology of Sport from Queen’s University, Barry has provided consultation to a number of organizations including Sobeys Inc., Bank of Montreal, Swim Canada, Price Waterhouse Cooper and the Insurance Bureau of Canada. Dr. Wright has won numerous teaching and research awards.
Abdul Rahimi is the Director of the Goodman Group in the Goodman School of Business at Brock University. Abdul has an MBA from the Goodman School of Business, MSc. from Kings College London, UK, and over 10 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry having worked in the UK and Switzerland. He has experience in leading highly efficient teams and implementing change within different industries. He enjoys teaching at the undergraduate and MBA levels.
