Research focus and motivation:
My area of focus is accounting, and what motivated me to pursue this is receiving CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation, career advancement, and gaining a global perspective.

Notable accomplishments:
- Vice President for Social Media and Marketing for the MBA Games: Managed a team in the prestigious MBA Games, overseeing activities across three categories: Spirit, Academic, and Athletic, which enhanced teamwork and leadership skills. Additionally, participated as an academic team member for the Google x Rogers case, contributing to strategic case solutions.
- Top 25 in Canadian Marketing League, Season 17: Distinguished as the only student from Goodman School of Business to rank in the Top 25, demonstrating advanced marketing strategy skills and competitive excellence on a national level.
- Co-Curriculum Campus Wide Certification at Brock University: Achieved this certification by completing over 40 hours of volunteering, showcasing commitment to community service and leadership development.
- Marketing Assistant, Brock Vietnamese Student Association: Developed and implemented marketing strategies to promote the Vietnamese community at Brock. Created engaging posters and organized participation in the Night Market, significantly contributing to campus diversity and multiculturalism.
Advice for grad students:
Engage with the community, seek volunteer opportunities, network through coffee chats, and contribute to the wider community.
Next steps/future goals:
Keep contributing to the Brock community and outside school, start the Gradvantage pathway, and participate in more case competitions to represent Brock University.
