PhD in Biological Sciences

Jerry Akanwari, a PhD in Biological Sciences candidate, will defend the thesis “Nematodes as indicators of sustainable soil health management practices in corn-soybean production” on Thursday, Dec. 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The defence will take place in PLAZA 600F.

The examination committee members are Rene Vandenboom, Chair; Tahera Sultana and Ping Liang, Supervisors; Koon-Hui Wang, External Examiner (University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa); Vaughn Mangal, Internal Examiner; and Sudarsana Poojari and Oualid Ellouz, Advisory Committee.
