The Minor in Educational Studies is for students who wish to acquire an understanding of the broad field of education.
Required and elective courses develop student pedagogical expertise for coaching, training, teaching, and the facilitation of learning in a wide variety of environments such as corporate, not-for-profit, adult and post-secondary, banking, health and safety, recreation, and early childhood. An internship allows for experiential learning in a variety of settings in the community.
The Minor in Educational Studies is open to all university students. The courses that comprise it do not lead to a Bachelor of Education degree.
