RESEARCH INTERESTS

- friendships in adolescence and adulthood
- romantic relationships in adolescence and adulthood
- gender and social relationships
- attachment style and adjustment

My research focuses on processes and factors involved in the development, quality, and conflict of close interpersonal relationships (family, friends, and romantic partners) across adolescence and adulthood. I am particularly interested in the association of characteristics of these relationships, recently attachment quality, with aspects of psychological adjustment.
