Teacher Candidate Handbook
The Teacher Candidate Handbook introduces the various aspects of the consecutive and final year of the Concurrent Teacher Education program at Brock University. Along with the Brock University undergraduate calendar, this handbook outlines the policies and procedures that the Department of Teacher Education follows in relation to the teacher education program.

All teacher candidates receive a hardcopy of this handbook in September. Teacher candidates are advised to familiarize themselves with the handbook early on in the program.

Police Records Check
All teacher candidates – without exception – are required to have obtained a police records check with vulnerable sector screening prior to entering a school in September. Link here for more information.  

The Police Records Confirmation form must be completed and brought with you to your first day of Cohort, August 28, 2013.
