Joint PhD in Educational Studies

The PhD in Educational Studies is offered jointly by Brock University, Lakehead University, and the University of Windsor. The designation of “home university” is applied the home university of the doctoral candidate’s dissertation supervisor.

Each Joint PhD student has the right to take courses and seminars and use the academic facilities at any of the participating universities in accordance with their approved plan.

Leading in Times of Change Panel Discussion Series 

  • Nov. 26, 2020: “Reflections on the Role of Doctoral Studies in Times of Change” and 20th Anniversary Celebration
  • Jan. 28, 2021: “Innovative Writing Practices and Methodologies”
  • March 25, 2021: “Keeping Research Relevant: Collaboration, Engagement, and Community”  

These panel discussions are opportunities for collegial discussion between faculty and doctoral students. Each event will include several panelists and will allow time for small break-out group conversations.

Innovative Writing Practices and Methodologies (Jan. 28, 2021)
