Research interests

Dr. Saha’s research bridges artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, with a focus on building intelligent, privacy-preserving, and explainable systems for next-generation networks. His work spans AI-driven threat detection and mitigation, federated and privacy-preserving learning, and the application of large language models to autonomous cyber defence. A central theme across his research is trustworthy AI, developing models that are not only accurate and adversarially robust, but also transparent and interpretable for real-world security decision-making. His lab, INFORM (Intelligent Networks, Forecasting, and Resilient Machine learning), collaborates closely with industry and government partners to translate this research into deployable solutions for ISPs, SOC environments, and IoT/6G ecosystems.
