The following is a list of thesis defences taking place between Monday, Nov. 11 and Friday, Nov. 15:
PhD in Biological Sciences
Arsala Ali, a PhD in Biological Sciences candidate, will defend the thesis “Role of transposable elements in gene regulation” on Thursday, Nov. 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The defence will take place in Plaza 600F.

PhD in Applied Health Sciences
Megan Magier, a PhD in Applied Health Sciences candidate, will defend the thesis “Navigating transitions out of post-secondary education: a mixed methods study of emerging adult mental health and access to support pre-and post-graduation” on Friday, Nov. 15 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The defence will take place in STH 361.

Grace Channer, a PhD in Interdisciplinary Humanities candidate, will defend the thesis “TEMPLE: Resistance Embodied as a Diaspora Aesthetic Strategy” on Friday, Nov. 15 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The defence will take place in Plaza 600F.
