Master of Applied Gerontology

I completed my undergraduate degree at Brock in Kinesiology and loved everything about my experience. When I was nearing graduation, I heard from some of my current professors about the new Master of Applied Gerontology Program. Since I was interested in working with older adults, it was a no-brainer to stay at Brock to continue my education in this exciting new field. Brock has a great atmosphere, with the feeling of a small, tight-knit community. This makes you feel at home. The MAG program provided me with an excellent education, but also the opportunity for hands-on experience during the 4-month placement. This was highly beneficial to my career path as it helped me get into my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy! I plan to continue to advocate for older adults and create better opportunities for them to be able to age in place as I begin my career as an OT!
