The following is a list of thesis defences taking place between Monday, Jan. 13 and Friday, Jan. 17:

PhD in Applied Health Sciences

Steffannie Hancharyk, a PhD in Applied Health Sciences candidate, will defend the thesis “Finding ways to support the transition to accessible martial arts services across Shintani Wado Kai Karate Federation dojos” on Monday, Jan. 13 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The defence will take place in Plaza 600F.

PhD in Chemistry

Anne Worrell, a PhD in Chemistry candidate, will defend the thesis “Use of Oximes and Schiff-bases as Bridging/Chelating Ligands in Mn/Ln & Cu/Ln Cluster Chemistry and The Mechanistic Insight into the roles of Transition Metal ions in the Formation of Tetrazoles” on Monday, Jan. 13 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The defence will take place in Plaza 600F.

Rakha Zabin, a PhD in Educational Studies candidate, will defend the thesis “Internationalization of Higher Education: Exploring the Alignment Between Internationalization Policies and International Student Experiences” on Friday, Jan. 17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The defence will take place in Plaza 600F.
