The following is a list of thesis defences taking place between Monday, Jan. 6 and Friday, Jan. 10:

PhD in Physics

Hoda Talo, a PhD in Physics candidate, will defend the thesis “Biophysical Insights into Lipid Oxidation Effects on Membrane Self-Organization and Enzymatic Catalysis Under Extreme Conditions” on Thursday, Jan. 9 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The defence will take place in Plaza 600F.

The examination committee members are Brian Roy, Chair; Thad Harroun, Supervisor; Cécile Fradin, External Examiner (McMaster University); Aleksandar Necakov, Internal Examiner; and Maureen Reedyk and Tony Yan, Advisory Committee.
