Events

The Faith and Life Centre is a space for students. It is foundational to helping students produce a critical worldview, and a holistic understanding of the role that faith and spirituality can play in student success. It is also a space for students to explore general far-reaching questions of life. We support all students, with all perspectives. Those who are asking questions, and those who are looking to belong.

The events put on, and hosted by the Faith and Life Centre, are primarily put on by BUSU-ratified student clubs.

Bible Studies, Prayer Groups, & More

The FLC creates space for students to practice their faith, and also walks alongside students who are asking general questions about faith and life. One of the main uses of the FLC is for individual Bible studies, student-lead prayer groups, and other student club facilitated events. Some religiously oriented clubs that participate in our space are the Muslim Students Association, Intervarsity, Power to Change, Brock SCM, and more.

You can find their events and learn more about each Faith and Spiritual student club on ExperienceBU

Sunday Morning Mass, Sunday Afternoon Church

Sunday’s are pretty cherished days here on Campus. No lectures, no presentations, no home-work is ever due! They are also cherished because the Faith and Life Centre is partnered with both the Catholic Students Association and Lift Church to offer students communities of worship each Sunday morning and afternoon.

Mass – will resume in the Fall semester at Alphie’s Trough

Lift Church Service – 4:00 P.M. Alphie’s Trough.

Drop-In Community Study Space

The Faith and Life Centre boasts one of the most beautiful spaces on Campus. Set into the escarpment, directly on the Bruce Trail, the FLC is a place of retreat. We want to share this with the greater Brock community! So on Monday to Thursday, from 10:00AM – 4:00PM we will have drop-in hours. Students can come study silently, or collaboratively. We will have actual spots to sit, wall-plugs, and even free Badger-blend coffee! So if you’re looking for a place to unwind, to find rest from the hectic pace of the University – come through to the Faith and Life Centre.
