LEAP is the perfect way to jump start your Brock experience!
Led by upper year students, you will meet other students, gain valuable skills, get to know the Niagara community, and connect with on-campus services that will support your success at Brock, all in a small group setting.

ABOUT LEAP
Open to all incoming students, the LEAP summer orientation program offers a unique opportunity for you to connect with other incoming students, experienced student leaders, and campus services to set the stage for your successful start at Brock.
At LEAP, you will have the opportunity to:
- Forge new friendships with fellow incoming students
- Connect with campus services and student leaders
- Explore Brock’s campus and downtown St. Catharines
- Gain valuable skills essential for your Brock journey
- Participate in a meaningful service-learning experience within the Niagara community
LEAP is offered in two program formats – learn more about each below:
LEAP provides an opportunity for you to become acquainted with both the Brock campus and the Niagara community. During the LEAP overnight program, participants will experience:
- tours of Brock’s campus and downtown St. Catharines
- opportunities to meet campus partners and student leaders
- a service-learning trip into the Niagara community
- an overnight stay in Brock Residence
- a small group environment great for making friends
- an opportunity like no other at your home away from home!
Participants will also have a chance to shop for Brock Swag at a discount!
The overnight program includes meals – dinner Downtown St. Catharines, as well as breakfast and lunch at Brock.
Our day programs feature the same great programming, without the evening social activity and the overnight stay in Residence. During the LEAP day program, participants will experience:
- tours of Brock’s campus and downtown St. Catharines
- opportunities to meet campus partners and student leaders
- a service-learning trip into the Niagara community
- a small group environment great for making friends
- an opportunity like no other at your home away from home!
Participants will also have a chance to shop for Brock Swag at a discount!

The registration fee for LEAP overnight program includes program materials, three meals (dinner in downtown St. Catharines, breakfast and lunch the following day) and one night accommodation in residence, as well as transportation costs associated with travel off-campus sites.
The fee for the LEAP Day program includes program materials, lunch on campus and dinner out in the Niagara community; as well as transportation costs associated with travel to off-campus sites.
All students will also receive a Brock branded T-shirt!
Registrations are eligible for a full refund 7 days prior to the start of the LEAP Session. Registrants should send an email to LEAP@brocku.ca to cancel their booking before this deadline in order to receive a refund.
Any cancellations following the 7-day period will not receive a refund.
