Configure Multi-Factor Authentication

Managing Your Brocku Account

1. Click Configure MFA.

2. If you are already signed into your account, skip ahead to step 4. Otherwise, select your account from the list.

3. Enter your Campus ID and password, then click Sign in.

4. If you have previously configured MFA on your account, skip ahead to step 9. Otherwise, click Next.

5. Select the authentication method from the drop down.

NOTE:

For the purpose of these instructions, the steps for configuring an authentication phone are shown.

6. Enter your phone number with the appropriate country code, select either "Send me a code by text message" or "Call me", then click Next.

NOTE:

If you change the Country Code to Canada (+1) and it reverts back to United States (+1), don’t worry. Since both countries have the same dialing code, it will still work regardless of whether it is set to Canada or United States.

7. If you requested a call, respond to the prompts provided by the automated system. If you requested a text, enter the verification code that was sent to you, then click Verify.

8. Click Done.

9. At this point you can sign out of your account (click your email in the top right corner, then select sign out). If you have configured multiple options, make sure to select your preferred authentication option from the drop down. You can also configure additional authentication methods if you wish. When you are done, click Save.

NOTE:

The Save button will only be active if you have made any changes to your settings. If the information on the screen is all correct and the Save button is greyed out, you can simply sign out.
