MARS First-Year Book Bursary
The First-Year Book Bursary is awarded to a student with a declared Major/Minor in MARS, entering Year Two and has successfully completed MARS 1F90 Medieval and Renaissance Civilizations with demonstrated excellence in their studies.
Applicants must demonstrate financial need and meet Ontario residence requirements.
Applications are accepted through OneApp until April 1 of each year.

The Rosemary Hale Book Prize

Named after Rosemary Hale, Professor Emerita and the first Director of the Centre for Medieval and Renaissance Studies, this prize is awarded to a MARS Co-Major or Minor in second, third, or fourth year, who has demonstrated excellence in their studies and a keen spirit of inquiry characteristic of Medieval and Renaissance Studies.
There is no application process for this prize as the recipient is chosen by the members of the MARS Advisory Committee and awarded at a MARS event towards the end of the school year.

The Centre for Medieval and Renaissance Studies Senior Book Prize
This book prize is awarded to a graduating student with high standing in Medieval and Renaissance Studies.
There is no application process as the recipient is chosen by the MARS Advisory Committee members and awarded at a MARS event towards the end of the school year.
