Below, you’ll find a list of Brock and community mental health resources tailored for students and racialized communities. These resources offer specialized support to meet your specific needs.

Brock Mental Health Resources

Brock University’s walk-in clinic for physical, mental, and sexual health services.

Appointments are available Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm. Please note that the clinic is closed from 12:00 – 1:00pm. All physician appointments are in-person (telephone or virtual appointments are at the physician’s discretion).

Counselling is available to all registered Brock Students and is free of charge. It can be on a 1:1 basis or via group therapy and workshops. Our counsellors are all trained in Trauma Informed Practices.

Mental Health Drop-In (In-person only): In-person appointments are available for urgent mental health matters on the 4th floor of Schmon Tower, ST402, Monday to Friday. Use this link to book.

The Campus Assessment, Response, Education (CARE) and Connect Team supports Brock University students with challenges related to health, well-being, and academic success.

A safe space on campus for Indigenous-identifying students that provide support and resources to enhance their academic success and cultural identity at Brock.

Public Mental Health Resources

Black Youth Helpline serves all youth and specifically responds to the need for a Black youth specific service, positioned and resourced to promote access to professional, culturally appropriate support for youth, families and schools.

TAIBU is a community health center located in Toronto. They are committed to delivering health and social services to Black communities across the GTA. They offer counselling services, primary and long term health care services, telemedicine, and much more.

The Hope for Wellness Helpline is available to all Indigenous people across Canada seeking counselling. Both telephone and online chat services are available in English and French. Telephone support is also available upon request in Cree, Ojibway (Anishinaabemowin) and Inuktitut.
