This free webinar hosted on Tuesday, April 26 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. EST, explored the impact of the pandemic measures on adolescent mental health, with a focus on school closures and different COVID-19 learning modes.
Drs. Patte and Riazi presented their ongoing research using survey data collected before and over the pandemic from a large sample of Canadian secondary school students. They also presented results from interviews with young people on their experiences of the pandemic measures and their recommendations for schools and policy makers to better support youth mental health. This research is supported by funding from Sick Kids Foundation and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
