Beginning in early May through to late September, the Brock University Farmers Market is held outdoors every Thursday on campus in the picturesque Jubilee Courtyard from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., weather permitting.
Brock’s farmers market is the perfect event for students and staff to escape the classroom or office and socialize with friends and colleagues in a backyard barbecue-type atmosphere with live music and games, such as bean bag toss, washer toss, ladder ball, bocce ball and KanJam.
We encourage everyone to bring their lunch or buy fresh off the barbecue during the farmers market. And like any traditional farmers market, we invite local produce farmers and bakeries to attend with their seasonal or distinctive fare. Aside from the colourful vegetables and fruits, local vendors/selections typically include sweets, treats and artisans/crafters. Brock’s farmers market also features a different winery each week, providing tastings and sales of their Niagara VQA wine.
