Yes, if you are living in residence you are required to purchase a meal plan.

If you are living in a traditional residence, Lowenberger, DeCew, Vallee, or Earp, you must purchase a 5-day or 7-day All- Access meal plan. All Access plans give you unlimited entry into the dining halls. A 5-day plan is Monday to Friday. Students with All- Access meal plans will have access to both residence dining halls.

If you are living in a non-traditional residence, Village or Quarry View, or Lofts Block 9 you have the choice of purchasing a Townhouse Plan, Townhouse Plus Plan, 5-day or 7- day All Access meal plan. The Townhouse Plan give you 10 swipes per week and the Townhouse Plus Plan give you 15 swipes per week into either Decew or Lowenberger dining hall. Unused swipes will expire at the end of each week.

Yes! Brock University dining halls are lead by a team of chefs and features an all you care to enjoy rotating menu. Our Chefs create a variety of options from soups and salads to entrées to your favourite comfort foods; burgers and pizza. If you purchase a 5 or 7-day All-Access plan, you can enter and leave the dining hall as much or as little as you like. If you purchase a Townhouse plan or Townhouse Plus plan, you can eat as much as you like while in the dining hall, however, once you leave, you will need to use a swipe to re-enter.

You can request to change your meal plan up until September 30th, by emailing BrockCard@Brocku.ca. After September 30th, please reach out to the Brock Card office to upgrade your meal plan.

Your meal plan is valid from move-in day and available to use until 24 hours after residence move out day in April.

Both the 5-day and the 7-day All-Access dining plans, as well as the Townhouse and Townhouse Plus plans can be redeemed at either of newly renovated DeCew or Lowenberger Dining Halls located within DeCew Residence or Lowenberger Residence. Dining Dollars and Flex Dollars can be used at any participating dining location on campus including PizzaPizza, Pita Pit, Guernsey Market and eligible meals at Tim Hortons.

Our All-Access Dining Halls are eat-in only. However, you can take out one of the following snacks from the dining room: an ice cream cone or a piece of fruit or a baked good or a drink in your own cup.

Brock’s dining program is designed to provide variety through a 4- week rotating menu cycle. Daily and weekly menus are posted at the entrance of the Dining Hall. In addition to the daily menu, your favourite classic menu items will be available everyday.

While hours are subject to change, the dining halls are open Monday-Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Friday: 7:30 a.m to 10:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday: 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Absolutely, your friends and family are welcome at all Brock Dining Locations! You have two payment options: Option #1: Guest meal passes. Option #2: Pay as you go: We accept cash, debit, credit and OneCard. Please refer to the meal plan options list for the number of guest plans that come with each plan.

Yes our Brock Dining Services is the ideal location on campus to accommodate dietary needs such as: allergies or food intolerances (soy, eggs, nuts, dairy, seafood & wheat), vegetarian, vegan, no gluten, halal and prescribed diets. While dining at Brock Dining Services look for the icons below.

These identifiers will show you which stations have alternative options to help make your meal choice.  We offer menu items that meet most needs, however, if you require a specific specialty diet we can work together to create a menu to meet your needs. The price of meal plans includes $150 that is allocated to the Brock University Capital Infrastructure and Sustainability Fund for Dining Services.

Note: the 5-Day All Access Plan is only valid Monday to Friday

Dining Dollars and Flex Dollars work as a declining balance and funds are loaded to your Brock student card.

Dining Dollars are available to be used at all Dining Services locations on campus which include both Decew and Lowenberger dining halls, Tim Hortons, Starbucks in the Market, Hungry Badger and the Guernsey Market.

Flex Dollars are available to be used at all Dining Services locations on campus, Campus Store, Parking Services, Laundry Services, Vending machines, General Brock and Union Station, and for Printing in both the library and Computer Commons.

Flex Dollars can be added at anytime via credit card using the Brock Card portal at https://card.brocku.ca. Your username and password are the same as that of your Brock Portal. Funds can be added, in person, by visiting the Brock Card office located in the box office adjacent to the Sean O’Sullivan Theatre lobby where cash, debit and credit are accepted.
