CULINARY AND DIETARY SUPPORT
Our culinary team consists of on-site Red Seal chefs who know how challenging eating healthy can be as well as the fact that discovering healthy food can be fun, empowering and rewarding. The team is here to help you discover what healthy food can do for you and to help you enjoy all the positive things that can happen when you start ‘feeding your potential’. We look forward to welcoming the Brock community.
Food is an important part of life on campus. Our Dining Services team is focused on providing healthy food choices across campus to help fuel your student lifestyle.
Discovering and choosing the right foods can propel you forward, help you succeed and keep you healthy, but for many of us, eating healthy is hard to do. It takes planning and time as well as the creativity and courage to listen to new ideas, try new foods and explore an openness to new flavours.
Our Dining Services team has a Registered Dietitian on staff to ensure we have a balanced approach to healthy dining on campus.

Whether you’re a light or a hearty eater we offer a variety of stations throughout the day such as grill, entrée, international eats, deli and soup, salad, bakery and beverages. Our plans are designed to enjoy as much or as little as you want all day every day. However, it is important that all students have a balanced plate, and our culinary team and Registered Dietitian are here to offer on-site support.

Our culinary team manages the production of food based on the demand for the location to ensure we produce only what we are going to serve each day. As the Fresh Food Company is a dine-in, no take-out program, all food waste is logged and tracked to ensure we minimize food waste each and every day. Production waste, such as eggshells and fruit and vegetable peels, for example, are composted. To minimize post-consumer waste, we encourage guests to take only what they are going to consume, as they can enjoy multiple servings and try a variety of menu items at each visit.
