Accessibility and inclusion are important aspects of Brock University. The University uses an inclusive lens while it creates and redevelops environments which is for all people to learn, work, lead and enjoy.

This responsibility is shared by the entire University community and is coordinated by the Accessibility and Inclusion Advisor.

On this website you can find useful information and resources on accessibility for students, faculty, staff and campus visitors. You will also be able to view and download Brock policies, documents and relevant practices required under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and its regulations; the Integrated Accessibility Standards, O. Reg. 191/11.

Accessibility and Inclusion Advisor

The Accessibility and Inclusion Advisor at Brock University provides essential support to students, staff, and faculty. Their role includes:

  • Offering expert advice and support to students, staff, and faculty on matters related to accessibility and inclusion.
  • Assisting individuals in setting up necessary accommodations to ensure equal access to university resources and opportunities.
  • Providing resources and support for mental health and well-being.
  • Ensuring that the university’s policies on accessibility and inclusion are properly implemented and followed.
  • Developing and conducting training sessions and workshops to educate the university community on topics such as accessibility, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
